Arena54 (arena54.com) is a map of the games being made across Africa, run by Uphiva. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions: hello@arena54.com.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google or X: your name, profile photo and email address (X shares an email only if you allow it). We use them to run your account. We never post on your behalf.
- What you submit: your studio or creator details, games, events and images. Listings are public once approved, including the city you give. We store a city, never a street address.
- Page visits: a daily count of visits to each creator’s page, so owners can see it. We don’t store who visited.
- Email: if you write to hello@arena54.com, we keep the message so we can reply.
- Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookieless page analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to see which pages are used.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel (hosting and analytics) and Neon (database), in the UK/EU region.
- Vercel Blob (image storage).
- Resend (sending and receiving email).
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim (turning a city name into map coordinates) and OpenFreeMap (map tiles).
- Google and X, only when you choose to sign in with them.
Your choices
- Ask us to correct or remove your listing, or delete your account and the data tied to it, by emailing hello@arena54.com.
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Revoke Arena54’s access in your Google or X account settings at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
