Changelog
Every change to the API, newest first. Each entry is marked the same way:
- Breaking changes something a working integration relies on. We say what to change.
- Deprecated still works, and will stop on the date given.
- Added is new and safe to ignore.
- Changed behaves differently but keeps working.
- Fixed now does what the docs already said.
- Security tightens who can do what.
The API version is v1 in the path. See Versioning for what counts as breaking.

- Added: Ledger and audit log endpoints under /v1/ledger and /v1/audit, written from a game’s server with a secret key. Each has its own switch and starts off.
- Added: Hosted games: leaderboards and achievements under /v1/play/boards and /v1/play/achievements. Scores from a page are marked unverified.
- Added: Hosted games: register a game, publishable keys, player tokens, and saves under /v1/play.
- Changed: Limits now come from the key owner’s plan. The free plan keeps 60 calls a minute and adds 50,000 live calls a month.
- Added: Docs, the try-it console, the walkthrough, a sample page, and the pricing, security and status pages.
- Added: API v1: games, creators, countries, cities, genres, events, rankings and search. Test keys at once; live keys after a short review.
