Sell a game
How a sale goes
- 01
Set a price
Dashboard → your game → Sell this game. Give a price and a sentence on what the buyer gets. It shows on Games for sale and on the game’s page.
- 02
The buyer pays Arena54
They pay through Arena54’s checkout. The money is held by Arena54, not sent to you. You have 48 hours to cancel, and they are refunded in full; after that the sale is accepted for you.
- 03
The game moves, you’re paid
The game moves to their developer account. Seven days later, with no dispute, your share goes out in the next payout run.
Offers below your price
A buyer can offer less than you ask. You get an email and the offer waits on the game’s Sell tab. Accept it and that buyer has 48 hours to pay that amount; decline it and they are told the game is still for sale at your price. Nothing is charged until they pay.
The fee
Arena54 keeps a share of the price, 10% unless the Sell tab shows otherwise, taken when you are paid. It is fixed on each order when the buyer pays. On a ₦100,000 sale at 10% you receive ₦90,000.
What protects both sides
- Verified sellers. Only a developer who has set up getting paid can list a game; that step confirms who they are with the payment provider. A game with an open report can’t be listed.
- Held money. The buyer’s money is held by Arena54 until the game has moved and the dispute window has closed. If the move can’t happen, the buyer is refunded automatically.
- A 7-day dispute window. For seven days after the move either side can open a dispute; the money stays held while Arena54 staff look at it, and they can refund the buyer or pay the seller.
- Arena54’s own figures. A listing shows players, active players, scores, city placements and in-game sales from Arena54’s records, never the seller’s word.
- Large sales are checked. Above a set amount, Arena54 staff look at the sale before the game moves.
What moves with the game
The game, its players, saves, leaderboards, achievements, its Arcade builds and its city placements. Its secret keys are revoked, so the seller’s server stops working with it, and the buyer makes new ones. Sales made before the move are still paid to the seller.
