No waiting
Sign in, name a key, copy it. There is no form to fill and no approval for test mode.
Same API
Addresses, parameters, envelope, paging, errors and rate limits are identical in test and live. Only the data differs.
Sample data that behaves
Filters filter, pages page and unknown slugs answer 404, so the paths your product takes are the ones you tested.
Never touches live rows
A test key cannot read the real directory, by design. meta.mode tells you which one answered.
The console is test-only
The try-it page on this site refuses live keys, so a live key never has to be pasted into a web page.
